i like this

Tabbie's dress

i've taken a slight leap and made a dress - ooh it's so much quicker than knitting but i made my own pattern and the big girl's already grown out of it....

House of Hemp green cardigan

pattern is the diane soucy top down v neck cardigan - i did it in the second to last size and the gauge wasn't as in the pattern - i think 6 st per inch instead of 5. this translated to the v neck part of it not being correct..

ruffle edged wrap

i did it - about a year ago in cocoon dark grey - really lovely easy knit - once you've worked out the stitches.. but... i think it would be better in a softer wool... cocoon is fine as my big hairy ubit cardi but a bit itchy otherwise....

more various hats

shame i can't remember much about making most of these

Various hats

i havn't updated this b log for about a year - been busy..
today i finished Tabitha's handdyed handspun made up onion hat

used 4mm needles on main bit but i think 3 mm or less for rim.
cast on 70 st and then knit about 5 rows - change to larger needles and then increased every other st after one row. then knit what ever stripes and then at about 3 inches up increased every fifth st and knit 6 rows and then decreased every fifth st corresponding to the increased. a couple of rows later started decreasing every 6 st, knit 1 row - dec every 5 st , knit 1 row and then i think i knit a couple of rows between each dec row and then every 4, 3, 2 , 2, 1 but with varrying knit rows between to create nipple
