this is my first yarn along. just having a computer a camera and connection and time and the knitting and the book all in the same place at the same time probably will happen once a year
anyway i'm making a camilla babe for a friends christening and i'm reading all sorts of homeschooling stuff such as Dumbing us down by Gatto. I've also just read the duggars book as well on kindle. I'm having a crisis in homeschooling at the moment as i just can't do it all and do anything well. It's not just a little blip either. I basically gave up three months ago being able to structure time and space for the the kids education hoping against hope that unschooling was valid. Well it turns out it is valid for some and not for others. I've got an aspergers dyslexic, a work/learning refuser, a "normal" girl and a boy for whom education in the normal sense should not start for years. On top of all that my husband is away working for the majority of the time and i'm not domestically gifted.
the yarn is some deeply cheap white cotton i picked up in a charity shop and dyed in logwood with various different mordants. I got tired of trying to repeat each colour so I have about 15 various sized balls of complementary colours.

oh no, you sound a bit fed up. I hope that all the yarn along comments sure to come flooding your way will help keep your chin up. You've got a lot on your plate, it would be near impossible to feel like you're achieving it all. Take a moment with a cuppa and write down the five things you did manage to do really well yesterday - I usually find that helps my state of mind when it's all too much. x
