I don't know how i managed it but I have managed to knit a whole cardigan - and it was my first ever knitting project. I am now obsessed.It is knitted in Coccoon Tundra on circular needles (us6) but the guage did not match the pattern and as such has knitted up to be enormous. However, i did want it to be oversized as i've just had twins and wanted something that would cover everything and still be able to wear another jumper underneath it.
The pattern is the topdown shaped cardigan from http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/ and is really very easy if you just let go of any preconceived ideas and follow the instructions. a very difficult thing to do if you hate to follow and like to create!
